The same lesson, told through two lenses. The player edition is what to try on court — the examples, the drills, the practice that makes a shot yours: “next time you play…”. The coach edition is how to teach it — coaching cues, drill and session planning, the errors students actually make, and the progressions that fix them.

Padel Profe is one corner of Spiegamelo — Italian for “explain it to me”— alongside close readings of open-source repositories and a weekly survey of computer-science research. They share one conviction, the one the name carries: that things are made to be understood, and that explaining them well is an ordinary, generous act.
Spiegamelo is an experimental partnership between human curation and generative AI. The machine is patient and tireless — it drafts, rephrases, offers a hundred ways to say one thing. The person is curious and accountable — they question, choose, and decide what is true enough, and kind enough, to keep.
03Made with AI, edited by a human
Each lesson drafts from coaching source material with a large language model, then a human editor checks it against the source, frames it, and decides whether it’s worth publishing at all. The pipeline is automated; the editorial judgement is not.
The distinctive layer here is voice. Narration — and the short-form video that grows from it — is built with ElevenLabs, anchoring a consistent coach voice across the lessons. The provenance note on each story names the specific models behind its text, images, and audio: a thing made to be understood should be understood in how it was made.
04The curator
Dr. Lorenzo Vigentini is a practitioner-researcher who has spent his career at the intersection of learning, data, innovation and technology — building things in education, studying whether they worked, and writing honestly about the difference. Padel Profe is part of his continuing conversation with a machine about the craft of explaining things well.
